Espresso, cappuccino or both?
A single boiler switches between coffee and steam temperatures. A heat exchanger heats brewing water through the steam boiler. A dual boiler uses separate boilers for coffee and steam. Compare which system suits the number of espressos and milk drinks you make in a row.
How do you like to make espresso?
With manual dosing, you decide when extraction stops. Programmable dosing remembers a set quantity. PID control lets you set the boiler temperature. Check each model's controls, temperature settings and available options.
Space, water and personal advice
Measure your worktop and leave room to refill water and operate the machine. Check whether the model uses a tank or a mains connection. Plan your visit to Adesso Espresso Studio Amsterdam to discuss your preferences and the differences between machines.
