Bezzera Strega TOP

Spring-lever machine with tank and direct water; a vibration pump handles filling and pre-infusion.

Strega TOP uses a large spring lever and piston instead of pump pressure during the main extraction. On S and TOP, a vibration pump first fills the group and provides pre-infusion; on R, the water mains performs this task. The pump or inlet then stops and two springs create the characteristic declining pressure profile. The group is electrically heated, and the 2-litre heat exchanger supplies steam and hot water at the same time. The TOP version can operate from its 4-litre tank or connect to the water mains and drain.
